So this projected started out as an idea to make beat tapes for my favourite artist, in hopes of one day getting them to actually rap on my beats. I had a bunch of beats sitting on my hard drive waiting to be heard, but I felt they weren't fully finished yet. Fast-forward just over a year later, I find myself sitting in my room making beats, during another rainy day...
With my old computer crapping out on me a couple times, files had been lost. Although I didn't want to release these beats, I figured "what the hell". I made the cover the same day and uploaded the project to my bandcamp page and let the music go. The response so far has been good, and this is one of my favourite beat tapes to date. I went for a jazzy blues feel that would fit as a soundtrack to a storm *hence the rain throughout the project* But that's pretty much the story behind this tape...oh yea these were the beat I would of tried to send to L.A. rapper
